Game Overview

Jetpack Christmas Special is that weird little holiday game you'd find buried in a box of old floppy disks—like someone took the already-great Jetpack and dunked it in eggnog. Same floaty, precision platforming, but now you're weaving between giant candy canes and dodging snowballs lobbed by grumpy-looking elves. The first time I played, I didn't expect much, but there's something oddly satisfying about collecting floating presents while "Jingle Bells" chiptune blares in the background.

It's short—you'll probably beat it in one cocoa-fueled sitting—but those last few icy levels get brutal. Half the fun is watching your little guy ragdoll into a snowbank after mistiming a jump. If you've got DOSBox installed and five minutes to kill, it's the gaming equivalent of finding tinsel in your keyboard six months after Christmas.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
