Play Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed : Tomo to Kimi to Koko de. Online

Pick ZAFT or Earth, then fight grid-based mobile suit battles where every move counts—beam sabers clash, dodges save your skin, and the sprites look way too good for a GBA game.

Game Overview

Okay, so Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed: Tomo to Kimi to Koko de is one of those GBA games that somehow flew under the radar, which is wild because it’s basically a pocket-sized *Gundam SEED* war simulator. You start off picking your side (I went ZAFT first, no regrets), and suddenly you’re knee-deep in grid-based battles where positioning your mobile suits actually matters—none of that mindless button-mashing.

The cool part? It doesn’t drown you in menus. Moves feel quick, and the fights have that same over-the-top energy from the anime, complete with beam saber clashes and last-minute dodges. Story bits pop up between missions, and yeah, some dialogue’s cheesy in that early-2000s *Gundam* way, but it’s the good kind of cheese. Also, the sprite work for the mobile suits is stupidly detailed for a GBA game.

If you’ve got a soft spot for tactical RPGs or just want to relive *SEED* without digging out old DVDs, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when you lose track of time mid-battle.
