Game Overview

King of the Monsters (Set 2) is one of those Neo Geo brawlers that feels ridiculous in the best way—you're basically a giant monster smashing through cities while wrestling other kaiju. The controls are simple, but there's something weirdly satisfying about grabbing your opponent, suplexing them into a skyscraper, and watching the whole thing collapse.

At first, I thought it was just a dumb button-masher, but there's actually some strategy—timing your special moves matters, and some monsters feel way heavier than others. The damage meter is a lie, though. Even when it looks empty, you still gotta pin them down for the three-count, which keeps matches from ending too fast.

Tag matches are chaotic fun, especially with a friend. Just don't expect deep mechanics—it's more about the spectacle of two giant creatures throwing each other through power lines.
