Play Kirbys Dream Course Online

You aim Kirby like a golf ball, then hold your breath as he bounces off walls, eats enemies mid-roll, and occasionally faceplants into a pit. The physics somehow make both perfect shots and total disasters equally satisfying.

Game Overview

Kirby's Dream Course came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by HAL Laboratory. It was a strange and clever little game in an era full of platformers, a puzzle-sports hybrid that felt completely different from anything else on the system.

You control Kirby, who is the ball. The goal is to sink him into the hole on each isometric course in as few shots as possible. You aim your trajectory and power, then launch him; he ricochets off walls and obstacles, and if he rolls over an enemy, he inhales it to gain a temporary ability that alters his movement or attack. The game is methodical and demands precision, with later stages requiring careful planning to hit specific enemies in order before even attempting the hole. It feels like solving a physics puzzle with a cheerful, pink, and occasionally disastrous golf ball.
