Play Line of Fire (Europe) Online
Take control of a soldier, navigate combat zones, clear out enemies and vehicles, switch weapons, and use cover to survive in Line of Fire on the Sega Master System.
Line of Fire came out for the Sega Master System in 1991, a time when the console was still getting solid arcade-style releases. It was developed and published by Sega, fitting right in with the kind of straightforward, action-focused games the system was known for.
You control a lone soldier viewed from overhead, moving through various combat zones. Your main goal is to survive each stage, clearing out enemy soldiers and vehicles. The game uses a screen by screen progression; you advance only after defeating all enemies in the current area. Signature mechanics include switching between different weapons, like a machine gun and grenades, and using environmental cover in trenches. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, with enemies appearing quickly from all sides. It feels tense and immediate, demanding quick reflexes and constant awareness.
