You play as Simba, starting off as a clumsy little cub swinging from vines (and probably falling into way too many pits). Then you grow into a scrappy teen tossing hyenas like ragdolls, and finally, you become the full-grown king, roaring enemies off cliffs. The animation is gorgeous—lush jungles, flowing waterfalls, and those smooth character movements made it feel like playing an actual Disney cartoon.
But let’s be real: this game is hard. That stampede level? Pure nightmare fuel. And don’t even get me started on the monkey puzzle. But somehow, the pain is worth it—especially with that soundtrack stuck in your head the whole time. If you never beat Scar as a kid, here’s your shot at redemption.
