Game Overview

Looney Tunes - Cartoon Conductor is one of those weird little DS games that shouldn’t work but somehow does. You’re basically waving the stylus around like a frantic orchestra conductor while Bugs Bunny and the gang bumble through musical chaos. The touch controls take a minute to get used to—at first, I kept accidentally flinging Daffy Duck off-screen—but once it clicks, it’s oddly satisfying.

Each level throws these ridiculous cartoon mishaps at you (think anvils dropping into tubas or Elmer Fudd getting tangled in violin strings), and you have to tap, swipe, and scribble to keep the music from falling apart. The power-ups are pure Looney Tunes logic—one turns your baton into a carrot, because of course it does. It’s not the deepest rhythm game, but the charm’s in the little details, like Sylvester’s off-key meowing during jazz numbers.

If you’ve got a soft spot for old-school cartoons and don’t mind looking like you’re swatting invisible flies while playing, this one’s a goofy good time.
