Game Overview

Lord of Gun is one of those classic arcade shooters where you grab a lightgun and blast your way through waves of monsters and outlaws. You play as a lone gunslinger (or team up with a friend) and just point and shoot—no complicated controls, just pure trigger-happy chaos.

At first, you’ve only got a basic pistol with 10 bullets, but you’ll quickly find shotguns and other weapons scattered around. Just don’t get too reckless—accidentally shooting a hostage or your horse costs you health, and those medkits don’t come cheap. Reloading’s as simple as flicking your aim off-screen, which feels surprisingly satisfying.

After the first stage, you can pick where to go next, which is nice when you’re itching for a tougher fight or just want to rack up points in the shooting gallery mini-games. The bosses are the real highlight though—big, screen-filling monsters that take way more bullets than you’d expect. It’s dumb, loud fun in the best way possible.
