Play Madagascar (I)(Independent) Online
Break out of the zoo with Alex, Marty, and the crew—each handles totally different, from smashing crates as the lion to outrunning foosa as the zebra. The pixel art nails that chaotic Madagascar energy, whether you're sneaking past guards or joining a lemur dance-off.

Game Overview
Madagascar on the Game Boy Advance is one of those licensed games that actually gets it right. You start off breaking out of the Central Park Zoo with Alex, Marty, and the gang—each character controls totally differently, which keeps things interesting. Marty’s fast but weak, Alex can smash stuff with his paws, and Gloria... well, let’s just say you don’t want to get in a hippo’s way.
The levels are surprisingly varied for a GBA title. One minute you’re sneaking past zoo security, the next you’re dodging foosa in the jungle or doing that ridiculous lemur dance party scene from the movie. The platforming isn’t super hard, but there are enough collectibles and mini-games (like Melman’s hypochondriac panic mode) to keep you entertained.
It’s got that early 2000s handheld charm—pixelated but colorful, with little touches like Alex’s disco moves actually looking decent. If you grew up with the movie or just love weird GBA adaptations, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t expect console-level graphics and you’ll have a blast.
