Game Overview
Madagascar 3 on DS is basically a road trip with Alex the lion and the gang, except they’re dodging animal control across Europe while trying to pull off a circus act. You’ll jump between characters—Marty’s got speed, Gloria’s all about strength—to solve simple puzzles and tap through mini-games like balancing on a tightrope or dodging obstacles in a cannonball routine. The circus parts are chaotic in a good way, especially when the controls actually cooperate.
It’s not deep, but if you’re into the movie’s humor (or just want to see a hippo in a tutu), it’s a decent way to kill time. The pixelated cutscenes somehow make King Julian even weirder. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking.
