Play Roadwar Europe Online
Start with a junker and a dream, then scavenge, trade, and shoot your way across a broken Europe—every fuel can and bullet counts when bandits could leave you stranded by sunrise. That rusty machine gun feels like a miracle when you finally ambush a convoy.

Roadwar Europe came out in 1987 from Interstel Corporation, a game for MS-DOS that fit right in with the era's appetite for post-apocalyptic strategy. You're not saving the world, just trying to survive in it, with the map of Europe as your broken playground.
You control a small convoy of vehicles, scavenging for fuel, ammo, and parts while trading with settlements and fighting off raiders. The main goal is to build a reputation by completing missions and wiping out enemy gangs. Key mechanics include managing your limited supplies screen by screen, engaging in tactical turn-based combat when ambushed, and constantly weighing risk against reward for every move. The pacing is deliberate, almost tense, because a single bad encounter can strand you without gas or bullets. It feels like a desperate, calculated grind where every small victory actually matters.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
