Game Overview

Magical Drop is one of those SNES puzzle games that'll have you sweating after like two minutes. You're basically matching colored orbs as they drop from the top of the screen, trying to clear them before they crush you. Sounds simple, but the speed ramps up crazy fast—I swear the later stages feel like playing against a caffeinated wizard.

The Aeon Genesis translation makes the Japanese version actually playable if you don't read kanji, though half the charm is just watching the ridiculous character designs between rounds. That clown still gives me nightmares. You'll either love how frantic it gets or rage-quit when the AI chains like 20 combos in a row.
