What surprised me was how much the game makes you think about positioning. Even early on, a bad bounce or misjudged slope can ruin a hole. The courses get trickier as you go, with hazards that feel straight out of a Mario game, like pipes and chain chomps lurking near the fairway.
It’s not perfect—some of the later tournaments feel like a grind unless you really optimize your shots. But Mario Golf - Advance Tour (A)(TrashMan) has this weirdly addictive loop of improving just enough to scrape by, then dominating once your golfer’s stats catch up.
