Mario Party 3 is that classic N64 chaos where you and three friends spend half the time yelling at each other over stolen stars and brutal mini-games. The boards are wild—some have moving sections, others let you duel for coins, and there’s always that one jerk who hoards the damn items. The mini-games? A mix of frantic button-mashing, weird luck-based ones, and a few that still make me nervous 20 years later (looking at you, "Tidal Toss").
It’s got that perfect balance of strategy and nonsense—you can plan all you want, but sometimes the game just decides to ruin you with a random event. And honestly, that’s the charm. If your friendships can survive a last-minute betrayal over a hidden block star, you’re golden.
Still holds up as one of the best in the series, especially with a full couch of competitive pals.
