Game Overview
Mario Party 3 is that chaotic, backstabbing N64 classic where you and your friends pretend to be nice before inevitably screwing each other over for stars. You’ll roll dice, land on spaces that either bless or curse you, and then get thrown into ridiculous mini-games—some skill-based, some pure luck, all hilarious when someone loses spectacularly.
The Japanese version has all the same boards and modes as the US release, but with that extra charm of untranslated text if you’re into that. Duel Mode is where things get personal—just you and one opponent duking it out in a stripped-down version of the board, no allies, no mercy. It’s the perfect way to settle grudges after a full game.
Honestly, half the fun is watching someone’s face when they lose all their coins to a random chance space. Still holds up if you’ve got friends willing to yell at a screen with you.
