Game Overview
Mega Mario (Mega Man 5 Hack) is a weird but fun NES romhack that turns everything supersized—Mario, enemies, even the platforms feel chunkier than usual. The first level throws you right into it with oversized Goombas and pits that feel wider because of the scale shift.
It’s still platforming at its core, but the altered hitboxes take some getting used to. Jumping on a giant Koopa feels different, almost sluggish, like you’re fighting the physics a little. The level layouts are remixed just enough to keep you guessing, though some sections feel trial-and-error heavy.
If you’ve played the original, Mega Mario (Mega Man 5 Hack) gives a fresh but slightly janky twist on familiar mechanics. Not perfect, but interesting for a quick playthrough.
