You pick from four warriors—each with their own fighting style—and brawl your way through waves of enemies, smashing barrels and grabbing power-ups like it’s 1993 all over again. The twist? After collecting the right bonus, your character transforms into a beast form—like a minotaur, werewolf, or panther-man—letting you tear through enemies with claws and raw power.

I always went with Ivan, the Russian hunter, because swinging a log at people never gets old. But Claude’s sword slashes and Ban’s judo throws make for some satisfying combos too. The bosses are tough, the animations are surprisingly fluid for its time, and the whole thing just feels like a lost gem between Streets of Rage and Final Fight. If you dig old-school arcade brawlers, this one’s a blast.
