Metroid Mario (Hack) is a weird but fun mashup—imagine Mario's platforming but with Metroid's open-ended exploration. You still jump on goombas, but now you're backtracking through levels to find power-ups that unlock new areas, which feels strange at first.

The controls are tight, though some of the level design gets confusing when you're hunting for hidden paths. I got stuck for way too long in one section because I missed a single breakable block. The mix of Mario's bright colors with Metroid's darker tone is oddly satisfying.
