Game Overview

Micro Machines 2 came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, developed by Codemasters. It was a time when top-down racers were common, but this one stood out by shrinking the whole experience down to miniature scale, turning everyday household objects into race tracks.

You control a tiny vehicle, like a sports car or a hovercraft, and race against opponents across surfaces like breakfast tables and workbenches. The main goal is simple: finish first and don't fall behind, or you'll get left off the screen and eliminated. Key mechanics include the aggressive, rubber band-heavy AI that forces constant bumping and blocking, and the track's shifting, multi-path layouts that demand quick reflexes. The pace is frantic, and the difficulty spikes sharply in later cups. It feels chaotic and tense in the best way, where one small mistake can cost you the entire race.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
