MicroLeague Football: The Coach's Challenge Deluxe Edition is basically the same game as the original, just with a bunch of under-the-hood tweaks. Same blocky EGA graphics, same play-calling system—but now you've got quicker season sims, slightly smarter AI, and way more stats to obsess over if you're into that sort of thing.

The "real sound" thing is kind of funny—it's just digitized grunts and whistles pumped through your PC speaker, so don't expect miracles. The playbook's deeper, and there are new ratings for players, which honestly just gives you more numbers to argue about when your running back fumbles for the third time in a quarter.

Still feels like 1989, but if you already liked MicroLeague's weirdly specific brand of football sim, this is the version to grab. Just keep the copy protection words handy—you'll need 'em.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
