Game Overview
Missile Command on Game Boy Color is that old-school arcade panic in your pocket. You’ve got cities at the bottom of the screen, missiles raining down from above, and a cursor you frantically move to blast them mid-air before they hit. The controls feel a little cramped at first—this was never meant for a tiny D-pad—but after a few rounds, you start nailing those split-second shots.
What’s wild is how tense it gets even with the simple setup. You’re juggling multiple missile paths, your ammo’s limited, and everything speeds up just as you think you’ve got a rhythm. The explosions leave these satisfying pixelated craters, too. It’s pure 90s handheld chaos, and somehow still holds up if you’re into that one-more-try itch.
