Game Overview

Monaco Grand Prix on N64 is one of those racing games that actually makes you feel like you're wrestling with a real F1 car. The physics are surprisingly weighty—you can't just slam the gas and expect to drift through every turn. I remember spinning out constantly at first until I figured out how to feather the brakes.

The tracks are packed with little details, from the tight, punishing curves of Monaco to the long straights where you actually have to think about gear shifts. And yeah, the AI drivers don’t mess around—they’ll shove you into the barriers if you leave an opening. Multiplayer’s where it really shines, though. Nothing like watching your friend clip a wall and go flying while you barely squeeze past.

It’s not the prettiest racer on the N64, but the handling makes up for it. You’ll either love it or rage-quit after the third lap.
