Game Overview

Ms. Pac-Man was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1996, developed and published by Konami. It arrived late in the SNES lifecycle, a time when many players were already looking toward newer consoles, but it offered a polished and faithful adaptation of the arcade classic for those still enjoying the 16-bit system.

You control Ms. Pac-Man through a series of maze-like screens, eating dots while avoiding four colorful ghosts. The main goal is to clear each stage by consuming every dot, occasionally grabbing power pellets that let you turn the tables and hunt the ghosts instead. Key mechanics include navigating maze patterns that change between stages, using warp tunnels on the left and right sides of the screen to escape or surprise enemies, and collecting fruit for bonus points. The pacing is fast and deliberate, with difficulty that escalates sharply as ghost movements become more aggressive and unpredictable. It feels tense and rewarding, especially when you narrowly slip past a cluster of ghosts or clear a tight corner.
