So, Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor on the DS—it’s basically Indiana Jones meets undead Chinese warriors, but with way more questionable platforming. You’ll spend half your time swiping at mummies with your stylus (weirdly satisfying) and the other half trying not to fall into bottomless pits because the controls are… let’s say "committed to the era."

The puzzles are actually pretty clever—think sliding blocks and pressure plates, but with the occasional "wait, how was I supposed to know that?" moment. And yeah, the graphics do their best for the DS, though some of the creature designs look like they were sketched during a caffeine crash. Still, whacking a terracotta soldier with a shovel never gets old.

Just don’t expect a cinematic masterpiece. It’s the kind of game you play when you want something dumb-fun between bus rides.
