Mystery of the Mummy was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series released in 2002 by The Adventure Company. It arrived at a time when point and click adventures were still finding their footing on home computers, offering a straightforward, atmospheric experience without the graphical ambition of newer titles. The game places you in a dusty mansion filled with secrets, and the setup is simple but effective.
You control a character exploring the mansion room by room, interacting with objects and solving inventory based puzzles to progress. The main goal is to uncover the mystery behind the mummy's curse, which involves finding keys, deciphering clues, and avoiding supernatural threats. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
