At first, you’re just picking a starter car (I went with the tuner, no regrets), but soon you’re recruiting wingmen, tweaking your ride’s performance, and slapping on decals like it’s your job.

The crew battles are where things get tense—lose too many races, and you’ll watch your map shrink as rivals claim your zones. But when you nail a perfect canyon duel or barely outrun the cops with 2% health left? That’s the good stuff. The handling’s arcade-y but satisfying once you get used to throwing weight around corners.

It’s not the prettiest NFS these days, but the vibe’s still there if you’re into late-2000s street racing nostalgia. Just don’t blame me when you spend an hour fine-tuning your car’s paint job instead of actually racing.
