Game Overview
You play as Ryu Hayabusa, a ninja out for revenge after his father’s murder. The controls feel tight—jumping between platforms and slashing enemies with your sword is satisfying, though one wrong move sends you tumbling into pits way too often. The first level throws you right into the action, with shurikens flying and enemies popping out of nowhere. It’s tough, but pulling off a perfect run feels amazing.
Some of the later stages get brutal, with disappearing blocks and enemies that respawn if you backtrack even slightly. But the music? Absolute bangers—that synth soundtrack still gets stuck in my head. Just don’t be surprised if you die a lot before figuring out the enemy patterns.
