One Piece: Dragon Dream came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2005, published by Bandai. It was a time when portable systems were full of licensed games trying to capture the feel of popular anime, and this one was a solid effort for fans of the early arcs. You got to jump into the world of the Straw Hats right around the time the crew was still coming together.

You control Luffy, Zoro, or Nami, each with their own basic attacks and a special move, fighting through side-scrolling stages. The main goal is to beat up waves of enemies, navigate some simple platforming, and take down a boss at the end of each area.
