Game Overview

Operation Jupiter on the Amiga is one of those games that looks simple at first—just a little spaceship dodging asteroids—but then suddenly throws a curveball at you. The controls are tight, and the pixel art has that classic Amiga charm, with chunky explosions and satisfying sound effects when you blast through enemy formations.

What I didn’t expect was how quickly the difficulty ramps up. One minute you’re casually weaving through space rocks, the next you’re frantically mashing the fire button while three different enemy types swarm you from all sides. The power-ups help, but good luck grabbing them when everything’s trying to kill you.

It’s the kind of game where you’ll fail a lot at first, but each run feels a little better as you learn the patterns. Just don’t be surprised if you catch yourself muttering “one more try” at 2 AM.
