Game Overview

Party Mix Preview is one of those weird little Atari 2600 gems that makes you realize how creative developers got with limited hardware. It came on cassette tapes (yeah, cassettes!) for the Starpath Supercharger, which already makes it feel like some forgotten tech relic.

You get a handful of simple party games—stuff like trivia and memory challenges—that are way more fun with friends than they have any right to be. The graphics are pure Atari blockiness, but there's something charming about shouting answers at the TV or trying to out-memorize each other. The Supercharger actually lets it have slightly better sound effects too, so it doesn't just go "beep boop" the whole time.

It's not exactly Mario Party, but for 1982? Pretty clever way to turn your Atari into a social experience. Still holds up if you're into retro multiplayer chaos.
