Game Overview

Perfect Worlds came out in 1995 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Isis Software. It was a time when platformers were everywhere, and this one fit right in with its bright, blocky visuals and straightforward premise. You don't hear much about it now, but it had its own quiet charm.

You control a little adventurer who jumps between platforms, collects keys and gems, and avoids enemies and traps. The goal is to clear each screen by finding the exit, which often requires careful timing and a bit of backtracking. Signature mechanics include screen-by-screen exploration, simple combat where you can stomp on weaker foes, and occasional puzzle-like elements where items must be used in specific spots. The pacing is brisk, though some stages demand patience with their precise jumps and enemy patterns. It feels satisfying to methodically work through each level, learning its tricks and finally seeing that exit door open.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
