I remember picking up PGA Tour Golf Disk2 for the Amiga back in 1990. It was published by Electronic Arts, and it felt like a solid step up from earlier golf games on the platform. You control a professional golfer, selecting from a roster of real players, and work your way through a series of tournaments. The main objective is to shoot the lowest score over 18 holes on each course. The swing uses a three click system: one click to start the meter, another to set power, and a final click to determine accuracy. You also manage wind direction, club selection, and lie conditions before each shot. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical; it rewards patience and careful calculation. It feels satisfying to read the green correctly and sink a long putt.
