Download PGA Tour Golf_Disk2 ROM – Amiga Game
1990 Amiga golf sim featuring 4 courses, 60 pro golfers, and a three-click swing mechanic for power and shot control.
Game Overview
PGA Tour Golf on the Amiga basically set the template for every golf game that came after it. You know that three-click swing mechanic everyone uses now? Yeah, this is where it started. First click begins your backswing, second sets power (and whether you overswing), third adds draw or fade—sounds simple, but the timing’s trickier than it looks.
There are four courses, including this weird fantasy links course the devs threw in. Some holes are absolute nightmares—blind shots over bunkers, water hazards waiting to swallow your ball, trees that seem to magnetically attract your shots. You actually have to think ahead instead of just whacking the ball.
Tournament mode pits you against 60 pro golfers (well, 10 are actually in the game, but still). One of them even gives you advice before each hole, which is either genuinely helpful or just makes you second-guess yourself. Either way, it’s surprisingly deep for an early golf sim.
