Game Overview

Pinball 2000 came out in 1999 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Williams Electronic Games. It was a strange and ambitious attempt to blend physical pinball with video game visuals during a time when arcades were still hanging on but home consoles were taking over. The setup itself was unusual; you weren't just looking at a standard table.

You control the flippers to keep the ball in play, aiming for ramps, targets, and loops to trigger on-screen events. The main objective is to score points by completing missions that play out on the vertical monitor above the playfield, which uses a half-mirror to overlay animations onto the physical table. Signature mechanics include video mode bonuses that change how you interact with the table, and multi-ball sequences that demand quick reflexes. The pacing is frantic, especially when the video and physical elements sync up during a hectic sequence. It feels like operating a machine that's half arcade cabinet, half pinball table, and completely unpredictable.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
