Pinball Dreams came out on the Game Boy in 1993, developed by Digital Illusions. It was one of the few portable pinball games at the time that tried to capture the feel of a real table on that small green screen. You could play it anywhere, which was a big deal back then.
You control the flippers, trying to keep the silver ball in play across four different tables. The main goal is to score as many points as possible by hitting bumpers, ramps, and targets. Each table has its own layout and mechanics; one might have a warp tunnel that sends the ball looping around the screen, while another features multi-ball chaos. The game moves fast, and the physics demand quick reflexes, especially when the ball speeds toward the drain. It feels satisfying when you finally master a table's rhythm and trigger all its features.
