Play Prophecy Online
You're a wizard scrambling to stuff weird grains of sand into an hourglass before time runs out—the puzzles make you think sideways, and the world shifts between murky sepia and sudden neon bursts.

Prophecy is one of those old-school MS-DOS point-and-click adventures where you play as a wizard racing against a three-day deadline to stop an evil counterpart. The whole thing feels like a fever dream—you’re running around grabbing grains of sand (weird, but okay) to stuff into an hourglass before time runs out. The puzzles are pretty clever, though some of them make you scratch your head for way too long.
What I like is how the cursor highlights everything interactive—no pixel-hunting nonsense here. The art’s got this weird mix of sepia outdoors and suddenly bright, almost garish colors indoors, which somehow works? It’s got that Gobliiins vibe where the puzzles are self-contained little logic traps, not just ‘use key on door’ stuff. Just don’t expect much hand-holding—figuring out the sequence is half the battle.
Honestly, it’s the kind of game where you’ll either love the grind or rage-quit after the third time you miss the deadline.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
