Game Overview
Puyo Puyo Fever 2 is that perfect kind of puzzle chaos where you’re frantically stacking blobs while trying not to panic. The DS version keeps the same weirdly charming art style and characters, but now you can scribble your combos with the stylus if you’re feeling fancy. At first, it seems simple—just match four blobs—but then the chain reactions start, and suddenly you’re drowning in enemy garbage blocks.
What I love is how the "Fever" mode kicks in when you’re about to lose, giving you this ridiculous pre-set combo to turn things around. The AI opponents have way too much personality for blob-based combat, trash-talking you in Japanese the whole time. It’s one of those games where you’ll lose an hour to "just one more match" without realizing it.
