The locals are a chatty bunch, and half the fun is just poking around, learning their quirks, and accidentally insulting someone because you picked the wrong dialogue option.

It’s still that weird, cool mix of RPG and adventure game—you’ve got stats to grind, sword fights to win (or lose embarrassingly), and puzzles that’ll make you feel smart when you finally solve them. The combat’s way better than the first game, too—you can actually aim high or low, dodge, and parry instead of just mashing buttons. And if you play your cards right, you might even become a paladin, which basically means you’ve got to be a goody-two-shoes the whole time. Good luck with that.

Honestly, it’s one of those games where you’ll spend half an hour just trying to figure out how to open a door, but in a way that feels satisfying instead of frustrating. The Amiga version’s got that classic pixel charm, too.
