Quest for Glory II - Trial By Fire was one of those Amiga games that felt way ahead of its time. You start off as this scrappy adventurer fresh from the first game (or as a newbie if you skipped it), and suddenly you're dumped into the middle of a desert city full of thieves, magic, and weird little puzzles everywhere. The combat's clunky by today's standards, but back then, figuring out how to sneak past guards or bribe your way out of trouble felt like a revelation.

What really stuck with me was how alive the world felt—shopkeepers had schedules, NPCs remembered if you helped (or robbed) them, and you could totally fail quests if you took too long. Also, that one puzzle with the monkey still gives me nightmares. If you've got an Amiga emulator lying around, it's worth dusting off just for the nostalgia alone.
