You control armies across a simplified world map, using the keyboard to select territories, deploy reinforcements, and launch attacks. The main goal is to eliminate all opponents by conquering their territories through dice-based combat. Key mechanics include fortifying borders after each turn, calculating risk versus reward when attacking, and managing continent bonuses for extra troops. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
