Game Overview

RISK on MS-DOS is basically the classic board game but without the hassle of losing tiny plastic armies under the couch. You pick your faction (British or American rules—I always go British for those sweet extra army cards) and dive into world domination against up to five AI opponents.

The AI isn’t exactly genius-level—sometimes they make baffling moves, like abandoning Australia for no reason—but it’s weirdly satisfying to watch your color slowly eat the map. The interface is pure '90s DOS: chunky menus, beige borders, and that satisfying click when you place troops. Just don’t expect fancy animations or hand-holding tutorials.

It’s Risk. You conquer territories, get crushed by dice rolls, and maybe—if luck’s on your side—take over the world before dinner.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
