Play Road Raider Online
1988 action game for Amiga. Drive an ATV through enemy-filled cities, fight zombies in room-to-room combat, and defeat Dr. A Noid. Features vehicle combat, scavenging for supplies, and arena battles.

Road Raider came out for the Amiga in 1988, developed by Gremlin Graphics and published by Mindscape. It was one of those games that made good use of the hardware at the time, offering a mix of driving and combat that felt pretty fresh. You could tell they were trying something ambitious with the limited but capable tech of the era.
You control a lone driver in an armed ATV, moving through a hostile, post-apocalyptic landscape. Your main goal is to survive, scavenge for fuel and ammo, and take down enemy vehicles and mutants. The game plays out screen by screen, with each area presenting new threats or resources to grab. Combat is straightforward but tense; you shoot enemies on foot or engage in vehicular fights, all while managing your dwindling supplies. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty can spike without warning. It feels gritty and tense, like every decision could be your last.
