Game Overview

Round The Bend! is one of those weirdly charming Amiga games starring Doc Croc, a sunglasses-wearing reptile who's basically a 90s cartoon character come to life. You guide him through these surreal, obstacle-filled levels—think dodging giant pencils, hopping on floating TVs, and avoiding sentient soda cans. The controls take a minute to get used to (that jump arc is... a choice), but once it clicks, it's oddly satisfying to bounce around the bizarre scenery.

The whole thing feels like someone animated a kid's doodles after too much sugar. Bright colors, wobbly animations, and sound effects that are either hilarious or grating, depending on your mood. Not gonna lie, some of the later levels get unfairly mean with their traps, but there's something about Doc's smug grin that makes you want to keep trying.

If you're into retro platformers with personality (and questionable physics), this one's a time capsule worth dusting off.
