Ruff's Bone came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Humongous Entertainment. It was a straightforward, uncomplicated title from that era, the kind of game you'd load up after school without expecting anything too elaborate. You control Ruff, a dog trying to dig up bones buried in the yard while avoiding moles that pop up to snatch them. The main goal is to collect all the bones on each screen before moving to the next. You navigate screen by screen, using the arrow keys to move and the spacebar to dig when you suspect a bone is hidden. The moles appear unpredictably, forcing you to time your digs carefully or risk losing progress. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty comes from the moles' sneaky timing rather than complex puzzles. It feels satisfying to outsmart them and hear that crunchy sound effect each time you secure a bone.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
