Play Ruff's Bone Online
You’re a dog digging for bones while moles try to steal them—simple controls, sneaky obstacles, and those crunchy pixel sounds make it weirdly addictive.

Game Overview
Ah, Ruff’s Bone—this one takes me back. You play as a scrappy little dog digging for bones in what looks like someone’s backyard, except everything’s made of those chunky MS-DOS pixels. The controls are dead simple: arrow keys to move, and that’s about it. But don’t let that fool you—rocks pop up out of nowhere, and these weird mole things keep stealing your bones if you’re not fast enough.
The first time I played, I thought it’d be a breeze. Then I lost three bones in a row because I got greedy going for a big one near the top. The sound effects are ridiculous in the best way—every time Ruff digs, it’s this crunchy thunk noise, and the moles make this squeak like a deflating balloon. It’s the kind of game where you say “one more try” and suddenly an hour’s gone by.
Honestly, half the charm is how unapologetically old-school it is. No tutorials, no power-ups, just you versus a yard full of nonsense. If you’ve ever wasted an afternoon on something like Dig Dug or BurgerTime, this’ll feel like coming home.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
