Ryuusei No RockMan 2 throws you right into the chaos—you're a kid fused with alien tech, dashing through cities and blasting mutants with your arm cannon. The battles are fast, almost like a rhythm game where you're dodging attacks while charging up shots. I got wrecked by the first dinosaur boss at least three times before realizing I had to time my jumps better.
It's got that classic Mega Man feel but with a weird sci-fi twist—you collect these "noise" abilities mid-fight, and suddenly your attacks go from pew-pew to full-on screen explosions. The Japanese text can be rough if you don't know the language, but the action speaks for itself once you get the hang of it.
Definitely one of those DS hidden gems that deserved more attention.
