Play Seikima II - Akuma no Gyakushuu (Japan) Online

You control a demon metal band shredding through undead hordes—sword slashes, guitar attacks, and all—while dodging fireballs from a giant floating skull. Chunky sprites, chaotic enemy respawns, and a soundtrack that goes way harder than it needs to.

Game Overview

Seikima II - Akuma no Gyakushuu is one of those NES games that makes you go, "Wait, this was actually a thing?" You play as a Japanese heavy metal band—except they're also demons, because of course they are—slashing through monsters with swords, claws, and what I swear is a guitar solo attack. The first level throws you right into a gothic city crawling with undead, and within minutes you're fighting a giant floating skull that shoots fireballs. Classic NES nonsense.

The sprites are chunky and full of attitude, and the soundtrack? Exactly as ridiculous and awesome as you'd hope. It’s not the smoothest game—enemies love to respawn the second you turn your back—but that’s part of the charm. If you’ve ever wanted to play a Castlevania knockoff where the Belmonts traded their whips for leather pants, this is your jam.
