Play Sid & Al’s Incredible Toons Online

You set up ridiculous chain reactions—cut ropes, drop pianos, watch Al the cat get flattened in gloriously silly ways. The animations hold up surprisingly well, and the chaos only gets wilder.

Game Overview

Sid & Al's Incredible Toons came out in 1993 for MS-DOS, developed and published by Sierra On-Line. It was part of that era when point-and-click adventures were everywhere, and Sierra had a knack for mixing humor with puzzle solving. This one stood out because it leaned hard into cartoon physics and slapstick, a nice break from the more serious fantasy or mystery titles.

You control Sid, a mouse trying to rescue his friend Al from a cartoon studio. The gameplay involves exploring screen by screen, picking up items, and setting up elaborate chain reactions to defeat enemies or clear obstacles. You might cut a rope to drop a piano, roll a barrel into a lever, or use a magnet to pull a key from just out of reach. The puzzles require some trial and error, but the pacing stays brisk thanks to quick restarts and frequent payoffs. It feels like directing your own chaotic cartoon, one clumsy mouse moment at a time.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
