Game Overview

SimCity 2000 Scenarios: Great Disasters is basically the "oh no, everything’s on fire" expansion pack. Instead of slowly building your dream city, you’re thrown into 10 nightmare situations—like the Mississippi floods swallowing everything or UFOs deciding Atlanta looks better as a crater. The disasters feel surprisingly real, even the ridiculous ones, and you’ve got to scramble to reroute power, bulldoze wreckage, and stop your citizens from panicking.

It’s not just about rebuilding, though. Some scenarios force you to make brutal calls—do you save the hospital or the police station when the lava’s coming? The time pressure makes it way more intense than the base game. My first attempt at the San Francisco earthquake ended with half the city abandoned because I forgot to fix the water pipes fast enough. Oops.

If you’ve played SimCity 2000 to death, this is the chaos you didn’t know you needed. Just don’t get too attached to your skyscrapers.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
