Game Overview

Simon the Sorcerer is one of those classic point-and-click adventures where you play as a sarcastic British teen who stumbles into a fantasy world—because, of course, his dog finds a magic book in the attic. One eye-roll later, Simon gets sucked through a portal, dodges some hungry goblins (who are weirdly obsessed with turning him into dinner), and suddenly he’s the chosen one meant to save a kidnapped wizard. Typical Tuesday.

The humor’s dry, the puzzles are just the right mix of clever and ridiculous (ever tried bribing a troll with a fake beard?), and the pixel art has that perfect early ‘90s charm. Just don’t expect Simon to take any of it seriously—half his dialogue is him complaining about the quest. If you like your fantasy with a side of snark, this one’s a gem.
