Okay, so Soccer Kid is basically what happens if Sonic and Mario had a weird sports crossover—except instead of power-ups, you're kicking a soccer ball at everything. It's got that classic platformer feel, but with way more sliding tackles than you'd expect.

The ball is your main weapon, which sounds simple until you're bouncing it off enemies' heads or using it to trigger switches. At first, I kept losing it in pits (oops), but once you get the hang of timing, it’s weirdly satisfying to juggle between jumps and shots.

Fun fact: This was supposed to be a Mad Professor Mariarti sequel before it turned into its own thing. You can kinda see the DNA—bright colors, floaty jumps, and a few "wait, how was I supposed to figure that out?" moments. Not perfect, but there’s charm in the jank.

If you’re into retro platformers with a twist, this one’s worth a few goals.
